Job Description:
Pixar offers exciting internship opportunities in the UK for college students and recent graduates across various departments, including Animation, Art, Business Operations, Editorial, Production Management, RenderMan, Software Research & Development, Story, Systems, and Technical Direction. These internships provide hands-on experience and mentorship from Pixar employees.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with artists, animators, and technical teams to support various aspects of production.
- Contribute to the creation of great films by working alongside Pixar employees as part of the team.
- Actively participate in Pixar’s social, educational, and civic programs.
Requirements:
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, or have graduated within one year from the start of the internship.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a creative team.
- Passion for animation, visual effects, gaming, or computer graphics-focused industries.
Qualifications:
Traditional academic paths:
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, or have graduated within one year from the start of the internship.
Less traditional professional paths:
- Those with a minimum of 5 years post-collegiate professional experience in a work/academic environment different from animation, VFX, gaming, and other computer graphics-focused industries, armed forces personnel in retraining programs, or those who are self-taught through alternative educational paths.
