Responsibilities:
Supervise Divers:
- Assist instructors with student divers and oversee certified divers in various diving activities.
Teach Diving Programs:
- Conduct and teach a variety of PADI programs, including introductory scuba diving and advanced open water courses.
Lead Dives:
- Guide divers on dives, ensuring their safety.
Assist Instructors:
- Collaborate with PADI instructors to develop diving theory and skills to the instructor level.
Qualifications:
PADI Rescue Diver Certification:
- Must possess a PADI Rescue Diver certification or an equivalent from another training organization.
Experience:
- Proof of experience in night, deep, and navigation diving.
Requirements:
Medical Clearance:
- Must have a diver’s medical signed by a physician within the last 12 months. For work in the UK, an HSE diving medical is required.
Logged Dives:
- A minimum of 40 logged dives (60 for certification).
First Aid and CPR:
- EFR Primary and Secondary Care (or equivalent) within the last 24 months
Swimming Skills:
- Ability to swim 400 meters, float for 15 minutes unaided, snorkel 800 meters, and tow a diver for 100 meters within specified time limits.
Age:
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
